This is a branding design project for Year of Craft, the North West region's celebration of the Crafts Council's 50th anniversary year.
Crafts Council is looking for an excellent freelancer to conduct this project. So, as a kind of examination, I was given one month to develop my design freely. This page shows the proposal I submitted. And to show off my skills, I created a new font and two 3D animations to introduce the concept and color palettes. Now I am waiting for feedback and will update the project soon.
It wasn’t easy to find a specific pattern representing all crafts in the world. So I started to think in abstract terms. And then, the process of squares turning into circles inspired me to create this logo. Due to its simple structure, the logo can cover different types of craft abstractly.
