TEXTILES & PLACE - Textile & Conference 2021 (textileandplace.co.uk)
Textile and Place Conference, an online annual activity hosted by Manchester School of Art, explores the politics of textiles.
I was commissioned to design a new brand and website for the conference in 2021.
Comparing with its previous brands, my design, with my dreamlike visual style and 3D techniques, is bold and contemporary. And I am glad that my client is satisfied with my work.
This page shows the outcome, as well as the process of thinking and communicating with clients.
Feedback from the client:
“It is a fantastic collaboration. We were impressed with the logo showing the movement in terms of the graphic, because the conference is all about linking the past to the future. And this is an international conference and cannot be situated in one local style. So we like the fact that Leyao's work gets a universal sense and looks contemporary.”
